International Children's Book Day was founded to promote literature and graphic created for young readers. It is celebrated on 2nd April, on Hans Christian Andersen's birthday. Each year another country is a host of the day and is obligated to design and send out a poster with a motto.
This year United States of America are the host of the event. The poster was designed by Ashley Bryan.
