Santa Claus in our school
Each year, on 6th December Santa Claus is coming to our school. Unusual guest visits classes and gives gifts. This day reminds us that Christmas Day is approaching faster and faster and we start our preparations.

Miner's feast
On 4th December first class was visited by a nice guest - the miner from a copper mine in Polkowice. He was talking about miners' hard work and presented his ceremonial suit.
Most of the interest gathered an impressing hat with feathers, which later everyone was free to try on. Mr Artur talked also about a miner's feast, which is Barbórka.

St. Andrew's Day
St. Andrew's Day is celebrated in Poland during late evening and night between 29th and 30th November. The day before St. Andrew's, in schools usualy take place different games connected with fortune telling. The most popular among them is pouring melted wax into water through a keyhole. Liquid, hot wax should be aimed into a keyhole and, therefore, figures formed from the wax in water would unveil what the future holds.
